Winslow Homer Songs of War

This leaf from the November 23, 1861 edition of Harper's Weekly features an illustration by Winslow Homer entitled, "Songs of War".  The leaf presents various scenes of Civil War life, with associated songs, including Dixie and Glory Hallelujah. The leaf also features George McClellan on horseback.  This is an early example of Winslow Homer's war art.
